This past Saturday night we stayed in and watched a movie as a family. We watch movies with Sam alot but Jake is not one to sit still so either Alan or I are usually up and down with Jake playing, but this past weekend was different. At 7pm we turned it on Monsters vs Aliens and all sat down to watch the movie. My intentions were to put Jake to bed about 7:30pm but by the time I looked at the clock it was almost 8pm and he was sitting still by me on the couch watching the movie. Had he really just sat through an hour of this movie?! Well, about the time the movie got into the action scene Jake was sitting straight up and pointing to the tv almost like he was trying to tell them to get the bad guys! It was hilarious!! Toward the end of the movie he got down from the couch and went to sit by Sam in his new beanbag chair. We had a great night with the boys!
