Bathtime with the Boys

Now that Jake is able to sit for short periods of time in his bumbo seat we decided it was time to ditch the old baby bath tub and let him get in the "big" tub with Sam. It will actually help on time spent in the bathtub because 2 separate baths just takes too long.

Because the actual bath seat we used with Sam was still a little too big for Jake we used his bumbo seat...little advice the seat floats and Jake is not heavy enough to hold it down completely. Crazy I know! When he is sitting back in it it is fine but when he leans forward it will go with him so we had to be very careful! Sam loved having Jake in the tub with him and showed him his choice toys of the night (catfish and tugboat). Sam would take his entire room in the tub if we let him so he is only allowed a few at a time. Jake was in awe of Sam and hardly ever looked away from him. Don't ask me what Sam is doing in this picture but you can tell there are no tears from either one of them! Jake was a little uncertain in the picture but its because we had to snap it quick before he looked back and Sam!
